Position: Principal, Crozier Gedney Architects, PC in Rye, New York
Career Moves: After graduation, Rex continued his education as a Graduate Assistant in Penn State's Department of Architectural Engineering. In 1983 he accepted a position with Edison Price Lighting in New York City, designing lighting installations for commercial and museum projects. During that time he served on the graduate faculty at Parsons School of Design, teaching computer applications in lighting design. In 1987 Rex joined the architectural firm of R.W. Crozier Associates in Rye, NY. The firm, established in 1951, specializes in residential design and renovation. In 1989 he became a full partner and is now Principal in Charge.

Position: Principal, RGS Associates
Career Moves: Mark joined RGS Associates in 1996 as a landscape architect with site planning and design expertise focused on continuing care retirement communities and active adult communities. His background also includes site designs for churches, residential communities, commercial, institutional and industrial land developments, park and recreational facilities and campus master planning. The majority of his career has been focused on creating "places"to live, particularly for the retirement and active adult sector. He is passionate about the power of well designed communities and the implementation of effective land use planning tools to impact how communities take form. He is committed to developing more "livable" communities based on consumer preference, and many of the projects he and his firm have worked on are designed to create a "sense of place" focused on the human scale, with transit-friendly, identifiable neighborhoods. As one of the owners of the firm, he serves as a principal-in-charge and is responsible for overseeing the preparation of conceptual design alternatives, site development plans, sewer and water facility layouts and stormwater management design solutions. He is also responsible for project administration, project schedules and budgets and supervision of design teams from the preparation and presentation of plans for agency approval through the contract document phase and into construction.

Career Moves: Kimberly has been working as a User Services Specialist for ARTstor, a digital library of images used for teaching and research, since 2004. In this role, she provides support services for licensing institutions including online and on-site training to subscribing institutions. Prior to joining ARTstor, Kimberly worked for Yahoo! HotJobs as a Major Accounts Manager supporting and growing the organization’s business relationships with recruiters at Fortune 500 companies. Prior to HotJobs, she also gained client experience working as an Account Manager for a printing company and briefly for a New York based fashion design house. Kimberly received her Bachelors degree from Penn State University, majoring in Art History. In addition to her client services experience, she has worked at MB Modern art gallery in New York and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution.

Position: New Media/Technology Consultant
Career Moves: As a new media/technology consultant for the Southern Alleghenies Museum of art, Deborah designs educational web sites and educational materials. She worked in the past as education curator at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. Prior to that, she was a visual arts educator (secondary education) in the Central Cambria School District. She serves on the Pennsylvania GovernorŐs Institute for Arts Educators, as an advisor to the Young PeoplesŐ Community Center Arts Program, and on the board of trustees for the Cambria County Historical Society. She is also a member of the National Art Education Association and the Pennsylvania State Education Association. Deborah has four children who have attended Penn State, the youngest of whom graduated last May. He was the 26th person in the Kimball family to attend Penn State ř number 27, 28 and 29 are on campus now!

Position: Digital Project Coordinator at Library of Congress
Career Moves: Susan has worked for a variety of arts organizations in the Washington D.C. area, followed by six years with the U.S. Marine Band (1989-1995), where she was Assistant Public Affairs Chief working to promote the activities of the band both locally and around the country. She then moved to the Library of Congress Music Division in 1995, where she worked on web site projects involving the Library's vast performing arts collections, eventually serving as team leader. She has represented the Library of Congress, speaking about their arts-related digital collections, at national and international conferences, and was co-chair of the 2003 international conference on music information retrieval (ISMIR). She is currently a digital project coordinator at the Library, working on a wider range of digital library projects and issues.
Special Interests: Susan has also been active as a freelance violinist in the Washington D.C. area for over 20 years, currently plays with the Fairfax symphony orchestras, played with the Coventry Quartet for 10 years and was a violinist and member of the Board of Directors for the Falls Church Chamber Orchestra. She has performed overseas on several occasions, and toured Europe as a violinist/vocalist in 1993 with the Philadelphia-based "Vox Renaissance Consort".

Career Moves: Jamelle’s first job after graduation in 1997 was with Tommy Hilfiger’s company as a graphic designer. After seven months, she moved into the magazine publishing world, first as junior designer and then as associate art director at Hearst Magazines. In July 2000 she took a position with Bon Appetit magazine as promotion art director. From November 2002 to 2005 she was with House and Garden, directing a department of two graphic designers and reporting to the associate publisher of marketing and creative services. She is currently on a career hiatus to become a mom.

Career Moves: Glenn is part of the technical staff of the Roundabout Theatre Company, housed in the American Airlines Theatre in New York City. He also has experience as a production manager for several Broadway productions. Glenn supervised the recent daunting renovation project of the American Airlines Theatre. It was formerly known as the Selwyn Theatre, which first opened in 1918. It was a $21 million renovation, with a goal of restoring the theatre to its original 1918 condition, with the addition of modern stage equipment.

Career Moves: Amy began working at Premiere magazine as the promotion designer 10 days after her Penn State graduation. A year later, she transitioned from movies and entertainment to fashion and beauty at Mademoiselle magazine, where she became senior designer. Amy later joined Us Weekly magazine as promotion art director shortly after its launch, and from there, went on to art direct in the marketing departments of several other major titles. While at GQ magazine, she was responsible for the design of sales, promotion and merchandising materials, including special advertising sections, invitations, media kits, event collateral and direct mail. Amy left the world of men’s fashion to start a design department at a large regional publication, Midwest Living magazine, focused on home and family. This reflected a similar change in her personal life. In 2004, Amy married her husband, Jason, and moved from New York City to Tarrytown, a small town in Westchester County just north of Manhattan. A few years later, an ongoing freelance project evolved into another big change. Following 10 years in the magazine publishing industry, Amy joined one of the largest international corporate law firms, Skadden, in July 2007, to oversee all marketing and branding design and to ensure consistency throughout its 23 offices.
