H. Campbell "Cal" Stuckeman, a 1937 Penn State architecture alumnus and longtime donor to the College of Arts and Architecture, has made a $20 million gift to the architecture and landscape architecture departments to further encourage cross-disciplinary collaborations between the two programs. For more information on his generous gift, click here. The H. Campbell and Eleanor R. Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture has been named in the Stuckemans' honor. Brian Orland, professor of landscape architecture, is the school's director.

The H. Campbell and Eleanor R. Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture is housed in the Stuckeman Family Building, named in honor of Cal Stuckeman and his late wife, Eleanor, who made a lead gift of $10 million toward the construction of the building, which opened in 2005. In 2006, the Stuckeman Family Building was awarded a Gold Rating from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. It is one of the first buildings on any college campus to earn this certification, which distinguishes building projects that have demonstrated a commitment to sustainability by meeting the highest performance standards (for more information, click here; for photos of the building, click here.)
