Center for the Performing Arts

John L. Brown, Jr. and Marlynn Steele Sidehamer Endowment for the Center for the Performing Arts
Established by John L. Brown, Jr. and Marlynn Steele Sidehamer (’84 D.Ed. Curriculum/Instruction).  The purpose of the endowment is to provide monies to support performances at the Center for the Performing Arts.

Richard Robert Brown Program Endowment for the Center for Performing Arts
Established by Richard Robert Brown (’60 B.S. Metallurgy), the purpose of this endowment is to foster an appreciation of the performing arts in undergraduate students enrolled at Penn State University.  Monies provided through this endowment are intended to provide funding for programs at the Center for the Performing to make the Center more accessible, affordable, and interesting to undergraduate students at the University.

Norma and Ralph Condee Chamber Music Endowment
Established by Norma Condee and her late husband, Ralph, the purpose of this endowment is to support the presentation of professional chamber music concerts at Penn State presented through the Center for the Performing Arts.

Eisenhower Auditorium Endowment
The purpose of this endowment is to help ensure the variety, frequency and quality of outstanding performing arts events at the Eisenhower Auditorium.

Glenn and Nancy Gamble Endowment for the Center for the Performing Arts
Established by Glenn W. Gamble ('51 B.S. AG, '55 M. Ed. AG, '59 D. Ed. ED) and Nancy Saylor Gamble ('52 B.S. HHD, '55 M. Ed. HHD) to provide monies to support programming at the Center for the Performing Arts.

Hall-LeKander Endowment for the Performing Arts
Established by Daniel J. LeKander and Peggy Hall LeKander (’75 B.S. Elem./Kindergarten Educ.) in honor of the late Fred W. and Ethel S. Hall and the late Julia Bonchack Hall.  The purpose of the endowment is to provide monies to involve elderly citizens in Center for the Performing Arts programs.

Honey and Bill Jaffe Endowment for Audience Development for the Center for Performing Arts
Established by William A. Jaffe (’60 B.A. Journalism) and Honey Jaffe to enrich the Center for the Performing Arts by providing monies for audience development.

McQuaide Blasko Performing Arts Series
Established by McQuaide Blasko, this endowment provides support to permanently sponsor a series devoted to children and families in the Center for the Performing Arts.

McQuaide Blasko Young People's Program in the Center for the Performing Arts
Established by McQuaide Blasko, this endowment provides monies to develop and nurture a love for the performing arts in young children through interaction with art forms and artists.

Penn State International Dance Ensemble Endowment for the Center for the Performing Arts
Established by members, alumni, parents, and friends of the Penn State International Dancers, this endowment provides monies to the Center for the Performing Arts in support of international dance and music programs including, by not limited to, professional performance, tickets, and expenses related to learning and experiencing international dance and music.

Gerald B. M. and Sylvia Stein Memorial Endowment for the Center for the Performing Arts
Established by Dr. Gerald B. M. Stein (’43 B.A. Psychology), the purpose of this endowment is to support the ongoing programs of the Center for the Performing Arts by providing monies to keep the Center’s services accessible and affordable, to enhance the Center’s outreach and educational services, and to maintain the highest artistic quality.
