Mission

The mission of the College of Arts and Architecture is to:

*   Prepare enlightened practitioners, leaders, and teachers in the visual, performing, and design arts

*   Provide accessible, high-quality, and culturally diverse general education in the arts for all Penn State students and individuals beyond Penn State

*   Create and present exemplary works of visual, performing and design arts, and expand knowledge in the theory, history, criticism, literature, pedagogy, applications, and technologies of these arts through the dissemination of research and presentation of creative work

*   Serve the citizens of the University and public through educational, artistic, and cultural programs and community-based projects and to bring these resources to the broadest range of constituents and audiences.
