Art Education Program to Offer Saturday Art Classes for Children

Penn State's Art Education Program will offer Saturday art classes this spring for students in preschool through eighth grade. Interested participants may register now for the nine-week session, which begins February 12 and concludes with a show of student work on April 23 (no class on March 5 or 12). Classes will be taught by advanced art education students in collaboration with art education faculty and graduate teaching assistants. They will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. in studio classrooms in Patterson Building, the Visual Arts Building and the Arts Cottage on the University Park campus. Class activities will be tailored to students at each age/grade level. Registration is $65 per student. For more information or to request a registration form, call 865-6570.
