Penn State Campus and Concert Bands Present Joint Concerts

The Penn State Campus Band, under the direction of Gregory Drane and Matthew Stombaugh, will present a concert on December 7 at 7 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium on the University Park campus. The Penn State Concert Band, under the direction of Jon Watts, will be performing directly afterward at 8:30 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium. The Campus Band will be performing: Sun Dance, Frank Ticheli; Ye Banks and Braes O' Bonnie Doon, Percy Grainger; Chorale and Shaker Dance, John Zdechlik; Trail of Tears, James Barnes; A Festival Prelude, Alfred Reed and Little English Suite, Clare Grundman. The Concert Band will be performing: Marche Des Parachutistes Belges, Pierre Leemans; Hands Across The Sea, John Philip Sousa; Dedicatory Overture, Clifton Williams; Shepherd's Hey, Percy Grainger; Irish Tune from County Derry, Percy Grainger; Vesuvius, Frank Ticheli; Prelude and Fugue in Bb minor, J.S. Bach. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3.50 for students. Tickets are required and may be purchased at the door prior to the performance or by calling 814-863-0255.
