Penn State Viola Studio Presents Recital

The Penn State Viola Studio, under the direction of Timothy Deighton, will present a recital on Tuesday, November 1 at 8 p.m. in Esber Recital Hall, Music Building I on Penn State's University Park campus. The program will feature solo works and works for viola ensemble, including an interesting arrangement for four violas of Bach's Chaconne, a piece originally for solo violin. Other works for viola ensemble to be performed will include Ballade, Pisk; Traveling Music and Viola Fight Song, Kimber and the world premiere of Fantasia and Scherzo, by Bernofsky. The recital will be free and open to the public.
