Symphonic Wind Ensemble Perform in Concert

The Symphonic Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dennis Glocke, Associate Professor of Music, will perform a concert on Tuesday, November 8 at 8 p.m. in Esber Recital Hall, Music Building I on Penn State's University Park campus. The program will feature Penn State faculty member Timothy Deighton, viola, performing Der Schwanendreher by Paul Hindemith. The program will also include Variations on "Mein junges Leben hat ein End", Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck; Country Band March, Charles Ives; Ballad for Band, Morton Gould and Passacaglia on BACH, Ron Nelson. Tickets for the concert are $4 for general admission and $2 for students and may be purchased at the door.
