Women's Chorale to Perform Concert

October 27, 2005

 

The Women's Chorale, under the direction of Jayne Glocke, will present a concert on Sunday, November 20 at 2 p.m. in Esber Recital Hall, Music Building I on Penn State's University Park campus. Repertoire to be performed will include: Hark I Hear the Harps Eternal, arranged by Alice Parker; When Jesus Wept, William Billings; Come Ye Sons of Art, Henry Purcell; Though Philomela Lost her Love, Thomas Morley; He's Gone Away from Three Mountain Ballads and arranged by Ron Nelson; Little Tree, Daniel Brewbaker (poem by e.e. cummings) and Ya Ba Bom, arranged by Maurice Goldman. Also performing will be Cantante with Aimee Trimmer conducting. The repertoire will consist of This Little Light of Mine, arranged by Ken Berg; I'm Going to Sing, arranged by Ken Berg and God Be in My Head, Jackson Berkey. Tickets for the concert are $4 for general admission and $2 for students and may be purchased at the door.
