Chamber Singers Present Fall Concert

The Penn State University Chamber Singers will present a concert on November 5 at 4 p.m. in Esber Recital Hall, Music Building I. They will be performing a program of music associated with battle and death by composers including Victoria, Schütz, Willan and La guerre by Janequin. The centre piece of the program will be "A Procession Winding Around Me" by American guitarist and composer, Jeffrey Van. The work sets four Walt Whitman Civil War poems and is scored for the unusual combination of guitar and choir. Tickets are $4.99 for general admission/ $2 for students and may be purchased at the door.
