Violinist Jeff Thayer and Pianist Anne Epperson to Perform Guest Recital

Jeff Thayer, current concertmaster of the San Diego symphony, and Anne Epperson, professor of collaborative piano at the University of Colorado at Boulder, will present a guest artist recital on Saturday, October 28th at 4 PM in Esber Recital Hall. Their program includes sonatas by Mozart and Saint-Saens, Wieniawski's virtuosic Faust Fantasy, and various Preludes by Dmitri Shostakovich.
Mr. Thayer is a native of central Pennsylvania and studied violin with Penn State faculty members Raymond Page and James Lyon before pursuing studies at the Juilliard School, the Eastman School of Music, and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Mr. Thayer, who performs on a Stradivarius violin, will be performing with pianist Anne Epperson, one of the top collaborative pianists in the country. The concert is free and open to the public.
