Penn State’s Art Education Program to Offer Saturday Art Classes for Children

Penn State’s Art Education Program will sponsor Saturday art classes this fall for students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Interested participants may register now for the nine-week session, which begins September 30, 2006 and concludes with a show of students’ work on December 9 (no class on October 28 or November 25). Classes will be taught by advanced art education students in collaboration with art education faculty and graduate teaching assistants. They will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. in studio classrooms in Patterson and the Visual Arts Buildings on the University Park campus.
