BRAVO! Concert Series Opens with Chamber Music

BRAVO! Chamber Music, will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 8 p.m. in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center Worship Hall on the University Park campus of Penn State. The concert will be free and open to the public.
This concert will feature some of our most outstanding students as part of our Bravo! concert series, drawing into focus the excellence at the Penn State School of Music.
Works will include a Puccini opera aria, a string quartet by Beethoven, a Eugene Bozza brass quintet, a Bach 'cello suite, a solo flute work by Lukas Foss and a rousing opera scene by Benjamin Britten, all of which are sure to delight the audience.
Student performers will range from freshmen to graduate and music education to music performance majors.
In addition, the evening will take advantage of the beautiful Pasquerilla Spiritual Center Worship Hall including the new Latourneau organ.
