Zoller Gallery Exhibition Features Work by Studio Art Centers International Faculty

February 3, 2007

An exhibition by fine arts faculty from Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy, will be on display in Zoller Gallery on the Penn State University Park campus from February 19 through March 7, 2007. A reception open to the public will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thurs., March 1, in the gallery.

The faculty featured in the exhibition originally hail from various countries, including the United States, many European countries, Canada and Serbia, and their artworks demonstrate their diverse backgrounds. Included are works by painters, printmakers, sculptors, photographers, designers, architects, jewelry makers, weavers and multimedia artists.

SACI, a U.S. not-for-profit university-level art school, was recently added as a study abroad option for Penn State students. During the 2006–07 academic year, the faculty exhibition is touring to seven U.S universities that are member institutions of the SACI Consortium. For more information on the exhibition, visit www.saci-florence.org.

Zoller Gallery is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. For more information on the gallery, visit www.sova.psu.edu/zoller.html.
