Landscape Architecture Mark Johnson to Give Public Lecture

Landscape architect Mark Johnson will give a free public lecture about his recent work at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, in the Stuckeman Family Building, first floor, on the Penn State University Park campus. Johnson is the fourth speaker this year in the Department of Landscape Architecture's Bracken Lecture Series.
Johnson is founding principal and president of Civitas, Inc., in Denver. Nationally known for public and private works that integrate landscape and urbanism, Johnson is recognized as a visionary and a powerful influence in effecting change. His leadership and commitment to improving life in cities through the natural environment has resulted in the implementation of some of the most complex projects in the country.
