Eisenhower Auditorium to Close March 9 Through 18

March 7, 2007

Penn State's Eisenhower Auditorium will be closed March 9 through 18 for electrical upgrades that are part of the final phase of a renovation project begun last May. During the closure, tickets for Center for the Performing Arts presentations and other events for which the Arts Ticket Center provides services will be available by phone, online and at two State College locations–Penn State Tickets Downtown and Bryce Jordan Center.

For tickets and information, phone (814) 863-0255 or 1-800-ARTS-TIX or visit www.cpa.psu.edu online. Penn State Tickets Downtown, in the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center at 146 S. Allen St., State College, will have expanded hours–8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12 through 16–to accommodate patrons who would usually buy tickets at Eisenhower. The downtown location will be open its usual hours–10 a.m. to 6 p.m.–March 9, 10 and 17. Bryce Jordan Center will keep its regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The HUB-Robeson Center ticket location will also be closed March 9 through 18 due to Penn State's spring break.

The Eisenhower and HUB-Robeson ticket locations will reopen March 19 with regular hours–8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at Eisenhower and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays at HUB-Robeson.

Most Center for the Performing Arts staff members will be working at alternative locations during the auditorium shutdown. They will be reachable via e-mail and phone.
