Penn State Double Reed Ensemble to Give Concert

The Penn State Double Reed Ensemble will present a 30-minute concert on June 11 at 2:00 p.m. in Esber Recital Hall of the School of Music. The performance will include music from the Renaissance through the 21st century. The ensemble, which has been invited to perform at this summer's Conference of the International Double Reed Society, is comprised of oboe and bassoon students from the School of Music and is conducted by faculty members Tim Hurtz and Daryl Durran. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to this free concert. Parking is available in the Nittany Parking Deck.
