Theatre Professor Performs Lead Role in Doubt at Lancaster’s Fulton Theatre

Jane Ridley, Penn State professor of theatre and head of the graduate actor training program, is currently performing the lead role of Sister Aloysius in Doubt at Lancaster’s Fulton Theatre through May 11. In the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play, set in the 1960s, a Catholic school principal (Ridley) suspects her boss—Father Flynn—has engaged in inappropriate behavior and must decide whether to trust her instincts or accept the priest’s protestations of innocence.
