Architecture Exhibit Spotlights MorningStar Home

An exhibit entitled “Penn State Design/Build: the 2007 Solar Decathlon and Rebuilding After Katrina” is currently on view in the Willard G. Rouse III Gallery on the ground floor of the SALA Stuckeman Family Building. The exhibition, an overview of two sustainable homes designed and constructed by Penn State Architecture Students in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams of students and faculty, is open from 9am-5pm Monday – Friday through March 20. The exhibition features the award winning MorningStar Home, Penn State’s entry to the 2007 International Solar Decathlon Competition, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
