The Penn State Solar Decathlon team, which included architecture and landscape architecture students and faculty, placed fourth in the 2007 solar decathlon, the prestigious biennial competition in which 20 international college and university teams constructed 100-percent solar-powered homes on the national mall in washington, d.c. in october.
