Tour of Italy for Alumni and Friends
Explore the artistic treasures of Rome, Florence and Tuscany with the College of Arts and Architecture, May 14–27, 2006. If you first experienced Italy as a Penn State student, there’s an excellent chance you look back on that time as one of the highlights of your Penn State education. Maybe you’ve returned there and fallen in love with the country all over again. Or perhaps you’ve included Italy on your list of life’s destinations and just never had the opportunity to go.
The College of Arts and Architecture will soon release a full itinerary and details about a glorious 14-day excursion that will start in Rome and then continue to picturesque historic sites in Tuscany and Florence. Our stop in Rome will feature a special visit to our college’s Sede di Roma facility, and will include an inside look at the arts and architecture of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Other similar, special experiences await in every destination along the way, thanks to the services of a professional tour director throughout Italy, and with Dean Richard Durst and Alumni Director Joyce Hoffman as your hosts. This trip is an intimate journey of discovery, so space will be very limited.
