Travel Funding

If a graduate student has been invited to present or perform at a national or international venue and wishes to apply to the Office of Research and Graduate Studies for travel assistance, he or she should fill out the Graduate Student Travel Grant Application (227KB PDF file) form and give it to the department head or school director for the unit's contribution. The unit head will forward the form to the associate dean, who will enter allocations from his office and the Graduate School. He will then notify the graduate student of the total amount of funding available.

To be eligible for funding, the graduate student's presentation or participation must be a part of the official program. Unfortunately, there is not sufficient money available to provide assistance for attendance only at conferences and other events.
